  the frying pan my son gave me (non-stick, a very expensive one) stuck like CRAZY. Low temp, oil, eggs stuck so badly they broke and I needed to soak before I could clean the pan, as it would not even come off with a plastic spatula. Then i realized it was not me, since the large one f the same type he gave me the previous year also sticks like crazy. It burns the meat; the bottom is so thick that you cannot control the temperature and it gets hotter and hotter until you are taking it off the stove to cool off. I can only use to for wet things/braising. Cost about $120. Since the fiasco with the eggs in the new 6 inch pan, I now know it is not me. it is the terrible allegedly non-stick surface. My son tried to return the six inch and they would not. Said it was not defective. And a defect is the only way they will accept a return. Sure is defective! And their customer service was uncaring and seemed to think an egg sticking on an expensive surface was normal. Said to use more oil. Said to use only very low temps. Does not work when flash-frying meat. They don't care. never buying Paderno again. The nonstick surface is a fiasco.
